The Milkman Candle Ritual Rules.

Your Milkman Candle is a high-performance scent delivery system designed to get you 45+ hours of clean, consistent burn time. But like any piece of quality equipment, it needs maintenance.

Forget the fancy names for a moment, this is our three-step ritual to guarantee performance and dominate your burn time.

 

Master the First Burn

The first burn is your candle's break-in period. Screw it up, and you get "tunneling"...a wasted core of wax that kills your total hours and ruins the look. 

The State: Make sure the candle is unpacked and at room temperature.

The Mission: Your first burn sets the memory of the wax. Keep it going until the entire top layer is melted to the edges.

The Hard Stop: Do not exceed 2 hours on this first run. This is critical for longevity.

 

Be Ruthless with the Wick

This is the non-negotiable step that separates the rookies from the regulars. A long wick equals smoke, soot, and a poor, uneven burn. It robs you of performance.

Be Fearless: You need to cut that wick. It's the key to a more even, consistent burn.

The Spec: We recommend cutting down to 1/4 inch... every time before you light it. Yes, every time. Treat it like a precise haircut for your candle. 

 

Don't Over-Burn

More time doesn't mean better performance; it means meltdown. We engineered this wax for a specific work cycle. Respect the limits, and it'll deliver.

The Window: Our wax is designed for a 3 to 4 hour burn each time. After that it then needs to reset before burning again.

The challenge: Any longer than that, and we cannot guarantee performance. You risk the wick drowning or the scent throw failing. Cycle it properly.

 

Finally, we’re subtle, not in your face

Your Milkman Candle isn't built to overwhelm the room. Think of it like a quality base layer, it's there to work subtly in the room and enhance the experience. 

The strength of the scent ("throw") is a variable, it’s dependent on room size, placement, and the temperature of the space. Find the right spot, follow the rules above, and the reward is a clean, reliable, 45-hour experience.
