1) The Midnight Hour

One of our most popular scents with one of our most outstanding reviews.

I (Matt) personally like burning The Midnight Hour when the light fades or when I'm entertaining. It has a really evocative tone to it which people often think is a bit metallic, but we see it more as a masculine cologne smell. The sort of fragrance that everyone turns their heads for. That being said... it's not overpowering, none of our scents are.

For the confident male in your life.

 

2) For His Convenience

Someone said to me the other day that this scent really takes them back to that moment when their parents had gone out to the theatre or the opera, or for nights out with friends, and they'd hugged them (as a kid) and they nuzzled their head into their dad's neck... smelling this masculine and enchanting smell.

I mean... what more can I say than that?

For His Convenience is inspired by journeys through New York City. Perhaps with the one you love or trying to find someone you could. It takes in the sights and smells of busy Brooklyn streets, the bodegas dotted around the city.

But it brings me back to the time when I could sit in the same room as my parents and just watch them existing. Slowly breathing as they thumbed through a newspaper or sat there pondering life.

For the person you simply love to look at.

3) The Gatekeeper

This one is a grower.

Initially I wasn't blown away by The Gatekeeper (I think that's ok to admit), but it is a candle that grows into you... enveloping your soul. In the morning, when I light this one it takes awhile for me to realise the positive, uplifting effect it is having on me. It makes me feel good, spirited, yet calm.

Inspired by the hustle and bustle of indian streets and corners, the effect is far different. It's as if it creates this beautiful bubble around you where you can still find calm amongst all the chaos. For me, it is a very "pretty" fragrance, if that makes sense and I'm totally falling in love with it.

4) Amaterasu Emerging

Probably the hardest of our scents to say, but an easy one to understand. The combinations of scents is intoxicating and complex, but the feeling oh so simple.

Amaterasu Emerging is (ahem) emerging as one of our populr scents. It's the one that people order time and time again. Why? Well, because it is a memorable scent that sparks memories of spring and the hazy days of summer. It's as if you can hear the laughter of friends in parks or your kids playing.

That doesn't mean it's not a grown up scent though. The candle was inspired by the turning of day into dusk on the streets of Tokyo, Amaterasu being the Japanese goddess of the sun in Shinto mythology.

Just like Amaterasu this candle radiates life and love, the joys of summer days and the joyfulness of those people next to you.
